There are several reasons for this situation:

1. Wrong material selection

Because the graphite mold plays different roles in the thermal field, the materials used are bound to be different. Generally, electrode, connecting rod, heater, heater screw, graphite crucible, guide cylinder, guide cylinder support ring and insulation cylinder shall be processed with fine structure and high-strength graphite materials produced by isostatic pressing, so as to meet the actual needs of production.

Other devices such as chassis, reflector, leak proof plate and upper cover plate can be processed by extrusion production or medium and coarse structure graphite. The premise is that it can meet the production requirements in production.

2. Unreasonable design

In the use of graphite mold, some accidents that seem to have problems with graphite are actually caused by defects in design.

Therefore, in the design of graphite mold, in addition to considering the grade and specification of the material itself, we must also fully consider the strength required by the graphite mold in use, so as to determine its geometric size.

Among the many problems in the use of graphite molds, the rupture of graphite crucible accounts for a large proportion. Among the reasons for this situation, improper use is the main reason that can not be ignored.

Under normal circumstances, one 18 "or 20" graphite crucible can be used in about 45 furnaces. However, although many graphite crucibles have no problems in design, material selection, processing and calcination, their service life is still very short, and after some graphite crucibles are broken, they are far from reaching their due degree of natural loss from the perspective of section.
